Default smart fortwo electric drive: Used Test

    Small particle accelerator
Less is almost impossible: four wheels, two seats, an electric motor, zero emissions. But save electricity is expensive. The Smart ED in thrift check.

Um there to write the same: A smart fortwo electric drive does not pay off. Rather, it is more likely when buying a kind of creed. Because: The small particle accelerators is simply too expensive - in both purchase and maintenance. Yet the Swabian rapids is interesting. After all, there is now even an e-license plate, which promises privileges. But currently attracts only Stuttgart Free Parking for small electrician. In 451 internally called Smart for driving the clean environment with always. Locally, yes produces no pollutants. Who wants stromern pure conscience, naturally chooses green electricity. Greenpeace Energy example requires 26.65 cents per kWh renewable. Smart needed (no loss) 15.1 kWh per 100 km. We expect: around four euros. At the current price of fuel is a diesel as favorable. For this purpose, the acquisition price is lower, and there are no 65 Euro Battery Monthly Price payable.

Only who drives carefully, come 130 km far

Our test object was a demonstration vehicles, parked for some time at the Smart dealer Burger Schloz in the Swabian Uhingen. The child was in mid January 2015 for the first time allowed, but is a 2014er model. Equipment? Lean air is series, after all, the cloth seats are heated, and a radio is also there. Good 5000 kilometers reports the digital display. And otherwise?

The Stromerle looks like new. And moves are also like that. During the trial round of view is always to the two clocks on the dashboard: power and charge level indicator. It initially dares not to operate the power windows (standard). The cost certainly reach - and that ends in everyday life at 100 kilometers. Only those who pressed the pedal very carefully and with foresight, is a further 30 kilometers. And then you have seven hours on the domestic 230-volt outlet. Faster's on a wall box - but the cost. Perhaps the count Smart ED yet. At least the prices are likely to fall, there are still copies at the dealership. Daimler has stopped production after three years straight. The electrical successor is not expected before the end of 2016th

451 ED, why hello there. I am liking it already but from reading all the posts here, if i were to even think about getting it i would not even know how to charge it up, as well in the pictures it looks like a "special" place for it to charge.

I had no idea either but i took the time and found this:

Drive Clean | Plug-in Electric Vehicle Resource Center

Pretty much list what cars can be used at a charging station here in California

but for locations you can use:

CarStations | Charging Stations App & Map for Electric Cars and Plugin Hybrids

and put your zip code and you should be able to find a station.

    I hope this helps

Frank Gruss thanks for finding this. Looks like it is expanding in a lot of places. I think this information should be a thread that is sticky. As i feel it is important information for those with a smart ED.
