    Default Will wraps increase sales?

Wanted to throw it out there as it's interesting to hear feedback regarding this topic.

smartUSA just introduced the Hello Kitty wrap, do you think custom wraps will increase sales of the smart 451?

...maybe ...maybe not...only time will tell...
...and on the re-sale aspect of a wrapped car you will need to find somebody with the same likes a the original owner...we see it at work allthe time...an airplane that looks great for the owner gets re-painted after the sale...

    I'd say yes.

But by little. I doubt that a new wrap program or the new color program will make much difference in sales. If someone wanted to wrap Hello Kitty on their car they can just get someone to wrap it for them.

    So, yes and no.

The wrap program has already increased sales
I work at a dealership (Tyson's smart center near Wash DC)
We have already seen an increase in sales since the expressions program started and have sold three "Hello Kitty" wraps in the last week.

So, I would say that the wrap program is working and is a good thing.

Forest made an interesting comment in regards to the wraps (eg Hello Kitty) being very gender specific. I tend to agree with the comments about great for the owner but for resale it may be tough. Reminds me of a friend who bought a skyrise condo in San Francisco. The previous owner had put, get this... wait for it... actual leather as floor covering. Yes, the floor was covered in a tight stretched leather. Soon as my friend bought it, it was taken out. It's very specific and very individual to the owner. Glad to hear that it's working though.

The wraps can't hurt....I can only see them helping sales. Love the Hello Kitty branding (though I wouldn't be caught dead driving one of those) hehe.

I think the BEST possible wrap to increase sales would be a FAQ/Answer list.
